Al Metwali Clinical Laboratory is the first and only laboratory in Syria to obtain international accreditation through ISO 9001:2015 certification from URS in the United Kingdom, accredited by the British quality body UKAS, a member of the International Accreditation Forum IAF.
The laboratory is equipped with some of the most advanced laboratory technologies available in Syria from leading approved international companies, and it operates a quality-control system for medical testing and all laboratory processes according to international and local standards to ensure result accuracy.
The laboratory relies on periodic monitoring of all operations by applying internal and external control systems and instrument calibration for devices and medical tests on daily, weekly, and monthly schedules to ensure precision in every process and obtain correct, controlled laboratory results.
